The Chrysler Building Built in 1930, the Chrysler Building stood as the tallest building in the world until the Empire State Building usurped it in 1931. Fehlinger has been servicing valves in the Chrysler building for decades.
The idea for the Empire State Building is said to have been born of a competition between Walter Chrysler of the Chrysler Corporation and John Jakob Raskob of General Motors, to see who could erect the taller building. One of the latest additions to the famous Wall Street and financial district of Manhattan is One World Trade Center, which now stands as the tallest skyscraper in the northern hemisphere. Fehlinger has been involved with the steam system and valve requirements since its construction began and continues to serve as a supplier since building completion in 2014.
